AMVYX, the largest and oldest Greek distributor of alcoholic beverages, wine and beer, has announced the inclusion of Palivou Estate and Kokotos Estate in the company portfolio. These partnerships come as a boost to the company’s Oenothèque section, with AMVYX remaining true to its strategy of recent years and further reinforcing its market position by partnering up with Greek wine labels. The exclusive distribution and marketing partnership for the products of Palivou Estate was launched on 1/11/2022, while a similar partnership with Kokotos Estate was launched on 1/1/2023.

In 1995, Palivou Estate entered a bold new era when the old wine press gave way to the modern winery. Passion and knowledge were paired with state-of-the-art machinery to serve one single purpose: making quality wines. The Estate is certified by COSMOCERT for applying eco-farming and sustainability principles. A number of varieties are grown over almost 100 acres of land in the wine region of Nemea in the Peloponnese, including reds such as Agiorgitiko, Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Merlot, Sangiovese, and Syrah, and whites such as Asyrtiko, Vidiano, Kydonitsa, Malagouzia, Moschato, Moschofilero, Roditis, Albariño, Chardonnay, Viognier, and Sauvignon Blanc.

Kokotos Estate is located in Stamata, Attica, surrounded by its privately-owned, organic-certified, sloped vineyards. There, at an altitude of 450 metres, the Estate grows international varieties including Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Chardonnay, and Gewurztraminer, alongside the Greek Asyrtiko and Savvatiano. At the same time, Malagouzia, Roditis, and Agiorgitiko are sourced from select vineyards working with the Estate. Today, Kokotos Estate has a portfolio of 12 labels that have won prizes in Greece and abroad, in competitions such as the Balkans International Wine Competition, 50 Great Greek Wines, and the Thessaloniki International Wine & Spirits Competition.
