AMVYX, the largest and oldest Greek distributor of alcoholic beverages, wine, and beer, has announced the inclusion of Moraitis Winery in the company portfolio. The exclusive distribution and marketing partnership for the products of Moraitis Winery was launched on 20/3/2023.
The winery is located at Naousa, Paros, and owned by the Moraitis family. Everything started in 1910, with Manolis Moraitis planting his own vineyards while also sourcing grapes from select vineyards on the island to make his wine. Today, in 50 acres of privately-owned organic vineyards, the family’s 4th generation grows well-known varieties alongside rare, indigenous ones, including Monemvasia, Mandilaria, Malagouzia, Aidani Mavro, Mavrathiro, Vaftra, and Asyrtiko. Moraitis Winery combines its long tradition with modern technology to make quality wines that capture Paros’ unique terroir and represent the PDO zone in Greece and the rest of the world.
The partnership in the words of Yannis Artinos, General Manager of AMVYX S.A.: “We are thrilled to welcome Moraitis Winery into AMVYX’s Oenothèque section. True to our strategic plan, we continue to strengthen our wine portfolio with another Greek quality estate – one of the largest and fastest-developing wineries in the country from the island of Paros. Our partnership with Moraitis Winery is a particularly happy occasion for us, as it helps us boost our coverage into more wine-making regions, offering our partners and consumers a very inclusive range of premium and quality labels.”
Since 1917 – for over a century, that is – AMVYX has been the Greek distributor of famous and prestigious brands, including spirits, wine, beer, as well as other alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. The company has always aspired to provide premium marketing and distribution services. Our work ethic mainly focuses on entrepreneurship, innovation, and respect for our suppliers, clients, and end consumers alike; this is how we have managed to remain successful against multinational competitors and maintain a steady course towards continuous growth.
