AMVYX, the largest and oldest Greek distributor of alcoholic beverages, wine, and beer, has announced the inclusion of Moraitis Winery in the company portfolio. The exclusive distribution and marketing partnership for the products of Moraitis Winery was launched on 20/3/2023.
The winery is located at Naousa, Paros, and owned by the Moraitis family. Everything started in 1910, with Manolis Moraitis planting his own vineyards while also sourcing grapes from select vineyards on the island to make his wine. Today, in 50 acres of privately-owned organic vineyards, the family’s 4th generation grows well-known varieties alongside rare, indigenous ones, including Monemvasia, Mandilaria, Malagouzia, Aidani Mavro, Mavrathiro, Vaftra, and Asyrtiko. Moraitis Winery combines its long tradition with modern technology to make quality wines that capture Paros’ unique terroir and represent the PDO zone in Greece and the rest of the world.
