The first Greek couture fashion show signaled the birth of the institution.<\/p>\r\n

The Lighthouse at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center was chosen for the event, as it reflects the storytelling on which Hautes Grecians is based. This is no other than the contemporary face of Greece, the country’s incessant dialogue with History, the strong ties between Greek nature and culture, the clean-cut lines, the sharp, ritual-sized volumes, and an everlasting hunger for extroversion and development. Greece has clearly evolved into a fashion destination, and this is now made evident as couture is elevated to higher standards.<\/p>\r\n

\r\n Catwalk designers included: Angelos Bratis, Apostolos Mitropoulos, Atelier Loukia, Vassilis Emmanuel Zoulias, Vrettos Vrettakos, and Evgenia Dimopoulou, a fresh name creating her first collection for the Greek brand \u03a4oi&moi, following a closed competition run by our site in our quest to find new fashion talent.
\r\n An interesting installation created by the brand Zeus +\u0394ione presented a timeline of Greek fashion, starting with traditional costumes and ending with modern outfits.
\r\n The looks created by couture designers were completed to perfection with matching hair styling using high-end custom products of the System Professional range. The task was taken on by the creative team of Wella, under the supervision of expert hair stylist Vangelis Hatzis, a System Professional Ambassador.
\r\n MAC Cosmetics & MAC professional makeup artists took care of the last brushstrokes, while the models walked down the catwalk in a mist of the Modern Muse range by Est\u00e9e Lauder.<\/p>\r\n
