Paris Sigalas took Mavrotragano, an almost forgotten variety, and turned it into one of Greece’s most
\r\ntalked-about red wines.
\r\nApostolos Mountrichas took Syrah, an international variety, and established a new home for it in Evia,
\r\nproving that world-class wine can be made there.

Mavrotragano 55% | Syrah 45%
\r\nMavrotragano is fermented and aged for 18 months in clay amphorae.
\r\nSyrah undergoes alcoholic fermentation and prolonged extraction for 30 days, followed by
\r\nmalolactic fermentation. It is matured for 18 months in selected 225-liter first-use French oak
\r\nbarrels, Seguin Moreau type QTT.
\r\nConcentrated and complex bouquet of fresh herbs, black crisp fruits, spices, and vanilla. Rich
\r\nbody with aromas of black fruits, tomato jam, pepper, sweet spices with mineral notes. Lively
\r\ntannins with strong structure and long aftertaste.
