Vinepair is one of the most popular interactive platforms for exchanging knowledge in the spirit, wine, and beer industry. The high-ranking American site has now published its list of leading rosé wines for 2021, compiled based on value and taste.
The exceptional wine hailing from Amyndeon in the region of Florina, Greece stood out among thousands of labels and score higher than any other in the tasting (94/100), along with the Italian Nerello Mascalese Rosato Feudo Montoni Rose Di Adele 2020. While the delicate floral and strawberry bouquet of this refined and balanced rosé is reminiscent of Provence, this award-winning wine is Greek at heart. Its mild depth on the palate brings out a quiet medium acidity, which makes it a perfect choice as an aperitif, as well as a harmonious accompaniment to traditional Greek fare, pasta & pizza, and exotic dishes, too.
