Boasting 100 years of history, AMVYX is the largest and oldest distributor of spirits, wine, and beer in Greece.
SEMELI has been in the market for 38 years and is now one of the most established wine producing units in Greece. Since 2003, their state-of-the-art winery has been the crown jewel of their privately-owned vineyards at Koutsi, the premium terroir in the area of Nemea.

Nemea and Mantineia are counted among the most important wine regions in Greece, with Nemean wineries always listed among the country’s top. These terroirs have both been awarded Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) status and are both important in the production of SEMELI wines, being renowned for the Agiorgitiko and Moschofilero varieties, respectively.

SEMELI often blends delicious native grape varieties including Agiorgitiko, Moschofilero, Roditis and Malagouzia with locally-cultivated international varieties like Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Gewürztraminer.

Yannis Artinos, General Manager of AMVYX, said: “We are thrilled to include the labels of the SEMELI estate in AMVYX’s portfolio. Since 1979, SEMELI has been one of the leading Greek wineries, as well as one of the most significant development investments in the Greek wine market. This partnership is strategically important and hails a new era for both companies.” Kostas Giannakopoulos, Chief Executive Officer of SEMELI, also commented on the partnership: “This partnership is a crucial decision and a milestone for the Winer
