For the 8th year in a row, MadWalk 2018 by Serkova – The Fashion Music Project was held at the Olympic Fencing Center. An impressive lineup of Greek designers and fashion brands joined forces with celebrated artists to put on a truly spectacular show.
The velvety soft flavor that highlights the refined uniqueness of none other than Serkova Vodka could naturally not be left out of the most fashionable event of the year.
The ultimate fashion event literally opened with a bang when the hosts Christos Mastoras, frontman of the band ΜΕΛΙSSES, and fashion It-girl Mary Synatsaki came on stage to perform “Bang Bang”.
First on the catwalk were the romantic creations of Vassilis Emmanuel Zoulias while Smaragda Karydi sang the beloved classic “Eisai ena peristeri” (You are a dove) in the background.
Next came the BSB Summer Collection accompanied by an exhilarating performance of “Licky” by Claydee & Jenn Morel, closely followed by Galanu’s unique pieces filling the catwalk while Evridiki and Georgia Kefala presented an unforgettably original remixed version of “Poso ligo me ksereis” (How little you know me).
Pepe Jeans London introduced their exceptional fashion statements alongside an impressive performance of “Wannabe” given by 719, Josephine Wendel and Konnie Metaxa.
Next up, Apostolos Mitropoulos unveiled his latest creations to the sound of Aisel’s stunning voice singing “X my heart”.
An array of supremely elegant designs by Christina Zafeiriou paraded on the MadWalk stage while Elli Kokkinou thrilled the audience with her version of “Get the Party Started”.
A charming performance of “Spell” delivered by Thodoris Marantinis and Andriana Babali made an excellent match for The MINI Design Lab’s innovative creations.
BSB returned for a special charity act side by side with Gianna Terzi performing her song “Oneiro mou” (My dream), with which she will be representing Greece in this year’s Eurovision Contest. All money raised from the sales of the collectible dress presented during the show will be donated to Penteli Convalescent Home, a branch of “Mitera” Institute, which provides shelter to babies and infants aged up to 6 years in need of a safe and protective environment, social care, and rehabilitation.
Moving on, Stelios Koudounaris presented his outstanding creations along the side of Rena Morfi stealing the show with her mix of “Amando Mio” and “Glykeia mou agapi” (My sweet love).
The temperature soared to… Caribbean levels when Axel and Otherview, joined by Thomai Apergi, hit the stage and performed “Havana”.
Madame Shou Shou added one more touch of glamour to the catwalk in a tribute to Melina Merkouri with Demy singing “Na me thymasai” (Remember me) in the background.
It was now the turn of Yvonne Bosnjak’s beautiful designs and Doretta Papadimitriou’s performance of “New Rules” to wow the crowd of spectators, who barely had time to catch their breath before the HUG Special Act by Noxzema along with Anastasios Rammos and Danai Pappa put on a superb show with a mix of “One” and “An me deis na klaio” (If you see me cry).
Dimitris Petrou made sure to keep the energetic vibe going by filling the stage with his uniquely stylish creations, accompanied by the number-one Greek singer Sakis Rouvas and his electrifying performance of “Ego sta elega” (I told you so).
Next up, Vrettos Vrettakos with his captivating designs and Eleni Foureira with her rendition of “Gigi in Paradisco” teamed up in a breathtaking show.
One of the most exceptional moments of the event was presented by String Demons, who gave a hauntingly melodic performance of “Bad Romance”. String Demons’ performance was sponsored by the stylish SERKOVA Vodka; a group of red-clad dancers carrying the distinctive X-sign of SERKOVA and parkour athletes showed off their impressive moves.
This year’s MadWalk 2018 by Serkova was topped off with a sensational show by MELISSES who sang their smash hit “Eimai allou” (I am somewhere else).
But the fun did not end there: At the party that followed the end of the show, all guests
–designers, models, and artists– enjoyed special cocktails served by SERKOVA.
In the course of the evening, this year’s winner of the Athens Metro Mall «Amazing Style» contest was announced, a few days after the lively selection event took place.
L’Oréal Professionnel Paris collaborated with top Greek hairstylists to shape the models’ hair, showcasing the hottest trends and putting the finishing touches to the designers’ looks.
The MAC Cosmetics team, consisting of Key Artist Alexandra Spyridopoulou and no fewer than 40 professional MAC Pro Artists, took care of the makeup of all guests who attended the glamorous event.
essie created the most fashionable nail looks with an emphasis on the colors that will take center stage in this year’s spring-summer collections.
