Hendrick’s cucumber-mobile was driving around the center of Athens and a group of aspiring gardeners were giving away cucumbers which had developed their own personality after they had grown affectionately with the purpose to become Hendrick’s & Tonic favorite garnish.
Lovers of the most playful gin had the opportunity to enjoy it in special cocktails at selected bars around Athens and Thessaloniki and the celebration culminated in a truly unusual party at the lovely Black Duck garden where in a completely “cucumber” atmosphere, guests had the opportunity to be informed by an experienced nanny on how to show their love to their cucumber in order to grow properly, to visit the Cucumber Hall of Fame and of course to take pictures of the natural environment of cucumber – Hendrick’s & Tonic favorite garnish.
