Born from the boldness and vision of Alejandro Hernandez and Luis Toro, Pampero emerged in Caracas in 1938, immediately capturing the free spirit of Venezuela.
The founders’ vision was to create a rum that would embody the spirit and essence of their homeland. By using raw materials from local production and leveraging Venezuela’s ideal tropical climate—which accelerates the aging process and enhances rich and complex flavors—they pioneered a rum production process that combined traditional methods with innovative aging techniques.
The passion for craftsmanship and authenticity, along with the fearless spirit of the brand, are foundational values of Pampero. These values are akin to those of the Llanero, the legendary cowboy of Venezuela, who serves as both a symbol and an inspiration for the brand. The Pampero range consists of four variants: Pampero Blanco, Pampero Especial, Pampero Selección 1938, and Pampero Aniversario, all crafted in Venezuela, yet each one has its own distinct, unique flavor and technique.
