Let’s not forget, of course, that fabled princesses would have chosen PANDORA jewellery, so those unique pieces were the obvious choice for all celebrity brides. In a crowd-pleasing act, model Thanos Adamopoulos got down on one knee and proposed to actress Eleni Vaitsou with a sparkling PANDORA engagement ring! You can bet she answered, “Yes I Do”! Before appearing on the catwalk, the 60 celebrities had some final touches added to their bridal looks using top-notch design PANDORA jewellery in the dreamy atmosphere of the PANDORA Boudoir. Every single look gained in glamour and finesse with pieces from the brand-new ranges “Lockyourpromise”’ and “ExplosionofLove”. Symbols such as the “heart-shaped lock” and the “key to my heart” take on special significance as tokens of love and reminders of our most beautiful and unique moments. To make the designer dresses look even more stunning, hearts from the new range “PANDORARose” were used to create impressive bracelets.

The fairytale was supported by some of the greatest talents in Greek design, including Vassilis Emmanuel Zoulias, Atelier Loukia, Anem Anna Anemomilou, Teti Charitou, Megla M by Stamatia Megla, Madame Shoushou, made Bride by Antonea, Athena, lila nova, and Aimilia Kritikou Atelier, while international brand MaxMara, a firm favourite with brides-to-be all over the world, appeared for the first time on the Yes I Do Catwalk by PANDORΑ.

For the show’s breathtaking closing act, Tonia Sotiropoulou stormed the catwalk along with ballerina Gogo Xirou and 3 more models, all clad in sensational Intimissimi underwear. Tonia ran wearing a 20-metre long veil, adding even more fairytale pizazz to the event’s dreamy atmosphere.

Beloved Partner of Yes I Do, Moët & Chandon was also there to sparkle up the show, greeting the distinguished guests as they showed up and refreshing everyone backstage. The guests were served mini bottles of Moët & Chandon at the Moët & Chandon van bar, while the celebrities got to indulge in their favourite champagne backstage and chill before their big moment. What is more, model Dimitris Lagiopoulos uncorked a bottle of Moët & Chandon on stage only to offer a glass to his “princess” Anna Prelevic.

Big, bold hair is another quintessential trait of the princess bride. The team led by G. Sfakianakis of TEO Hair Design Salons styled the brides’ hair using the ΕΙΜΙ range by Wella Professionals, while the models’ airy locks, vagues, and other hairstyles were created with professional styling equipment by ghd.

Once more, INGLOT’s wonder team, led by Elena Chatzinikolidou, took on the celebrities’ makeup. The bridal looks presented by the team on the catwalk were also their suggestions for the bridal make up trends of 2018. Before the show, all celebrity brides experienced a unique bridal beauty ritual with deep moisturizing properties at DARPHIN’s Flower Bar.

Needless to say, they were all wildly excited to see the Bridal Shoe Closet put up backstage for their perusal, since they were able to choose that last detail of their perfect bridal outfits for themselves from the new MIGATO Spring/Summer 2018 collection, which premiered at the show.

Tenderness and innocence are the prerequisites of every fairytale, and the event could not have a more fitting opening. Young children aged up to 5 sang and danced in the setting’s “woods”, wearing fairytale Stova Bambini by Stelios Manolas outfits, paired with jewellery from PANDORA’s Disney collection.

The breathtaking woods and overall setting put up at the NEW LIFE catwalk of the MEC Exhibition Centre at Paiania, Athens, was created by the seasoned team of STUDIO 7, while Greek wedding planner Peggy Simitzi of I Wish Chic Events oversaw the show’s details and contributed her experience to the overall concept. Violinist duo DuoViolins a.k.a. Giorgos Gaitanos and Dimitris Isaris impressed the guests with their memorable performance.

Apart from an excellent opportunity to drink more Moët & Chandon, the event’s after party featured a lip-smacking menu by Intercatering, made to pair with the champagne and followed by scrumptious desserts courtesy of The Cakers – an instant favourite with the crowd. In Greece, sweet Yes I Do’s are traditionally accompanied by equally sweet sugar dragées, and Dragées Chatziyiannakis brought their chest of wonderful flavours for guests to indulge in.

The celebrities who got to experience the absolute bridal fairytale included Mairi Synatsaki, who introduced the show, Doretta Papadimitriou, who concluded the catwalk in the most dreamlike way, Christina Bomba, Tonia Sotiropoulou, Marina Vernikou, Eleni Vaitsou, Maria Korinthiou, Evridiki Valavani, Sofi Paschali, Irini Kolida, Lena Papaligoura, Nikoletta Ralli, Anna Prelevic, Anastasia Tsilimpiou, Apostolia Zoi, Pinelopi Plaka, Ilenia Williams, Christina Salti, Maria-Louiza Vourou, Olga Piliaki, Jenny Melita, Sofia Tountouri, Fotini Petrogianni, Ada Livitsanou, Katerina Misichroni, Evangelia Tsiorlida, Klelia Pantazi, Kalliopi Simou, Kitty Paitazoglou, Amalia Arseni, Anastasia Perraki, Gogo Farmaki, Esther Mastroianni, and Christina Vrachali, while the bridal catwalk also featured some of the most followed and accomplished fashion bloggers and editors, including Souzana Kengitsi, Lavinia Stathaki, Mariza Bairaktari, Mary Kalymnou, Ioanna Samara, Gina Smarianaki, Maritina Chalvatzi, Nancy Spathi, Alexia Sakellariou, Vasiliki Karanzogianni, Niki Moustaka, and Sofia Ioannou.

Of course, the show concluded with yet another surprise by PANDORA. Anna Raskou, winner of the #yesidocatwalkbyPANDORA competition, not only got her bridal jewellery by PANDORA and a dreamy wedding dress by Madame Shoushou, but also had the chance to don the lot on the catwalk. Truth be told, she was the one true bride of the show, and received endless congratulatory cheering from the guests.

And that’s how you put together the perfect happily ever after!
