A very special single malt whisky from the Scottish Highlands, aged for 12 years. A consistent award-winner at international competitions, it is as much for whisky initiates as for wine-lovers. It is made from 100% Scottish barley and water from the company-owned ancient Tarlogie Spring. It is distilled in stills that have made Glenmorangie Distillery famous because they are the tallest in Scotland. Aged for 10 years in first-fill and second-fill bourbon casks, like the 10YO, but then undergoes another 2 years of finishing in barrels previously used for maturing sweet white wine from the famous Sauternes region in Bordeaux.
Taste Experience: 
Glenmorangie Nectar d’ Or is single malt whisky with personality and complexity. The effect of the wood is evident, along with the wine-related past of its barrels. It is characterised by a long, sweet aftertaste. Served neat or with a splash of mineral water.
