Vineyard: From our own single vineyards, Kokkinomilos and Avlotopi, on the hillsides at the foot of Mount Parnon, at an altitude of 750m.
SOIL TYPE
Clay-rocky soil with excellent drainage.
WINEMAKING
Traditional red winemaking method with 10 to 15 days of maceration and 10 months aging in oak barrels.
TASTING NOTES
Fruit-forward with ripe red berries and a hint of sweet vanilla on the nose. Full-bodied with velvety tannins and a long, balanced finish. This wonderfully structured wine can be enjoyed now or cellared for 5 to 7 years.
FOOD PAIRING
Pairs well with braised beef with “hilopites” (Greek egg noodles) and pancetta.
