In 2003, Chugoku Jozo launches the first Togouchi Blended Whisky locally, named after the old railway tunnel where it matures, some kilometres away from the distillery.

In 2013, Togouchi whiskies cross Japan’s borders to start their journey into the world, and arrive in Europe for the very first time. Today Togouchi is the #1 Japanese Whisky brand in France, with 30% market share.

The Togouchi bottle is a tribute to Japanese craftmanship. It is inspired from the traditional jars used to age shochu.

Togouchi Premium is the brand's original expression. It contains 10% malted barley and it is matured 3 years in 1st and 2nd fill Bourbon casks.

NOSE: Elegant – almond paste, plum, caramel

PALATE: Spicy – vanilla, walnuts, chocolate, oak

FINISH: Delicate – pepper, butterscotch
