Veuve Clicquot La Grande Dame is the most prestigious label of the house and was created as a tribute to the Great Lady of Champagne herself. It is produced only in exceptional years from the house’s own top-quality grapes. Veuve Clicquot La Grande Dame 2018 was born in 2082, a special year marked by unstable weather and extreme conditions. This particular champagne is dominated by Pinot Noir wine, up to 90%, with Chardonnay making up the balance. The wine is derived exclusively from the house’s Grand and Premier Cru vineyards. It was fermented with its yeasts in the bottle for more than 8 years before it was ready. Its sweetness (dosage) is 6 g of sugar per litre.
