NUSA CANA TROPICAL ISLAND

by NUSA CANA TROPICAL ISLAND

RUM

Nusa Caña tropical Island is produced in Indonesia using the finest ingredients.

Indonesia boasts a long history in sugarcane farming and in the production of various alcoholic drinks. Indonesian rum was traditionally made in its country of origin and sold in Europe as early as 1641. Quite interestingly, it reached Europe after 9 months at sea, where the high temperatures and constant shaking of the barrels made it taste aged and refined.
Nusa is Indonesian for “island”. Caña is Spanish for “rum”. The name Nusa Caña brings together the two elements to revive the forgotten history of rum making in Indonesia.
Aroma: Lush notes of sugarcane juice, banana, coconut, and spice.
Taste: Fresh sugarcane and unripe coconut, with emerging notes of aged dry wood, vanilla, and roasted banana leaves.
Aftertaste: A surprisingly smooth and full-bodied finish, with lingering notes of sugarcane.
