DOM RUINART ROSÉ

by RUINART

CHAMPAGNE

The exceptional vintage cuvée of the Maison, Dom Ruinart Rosé 2009 is a rare expression of the year’s character, with a late harvest that brings remarkable freshness and enhanced toasty notes through extended ageing under cork.
Composition: 100% Chardonnay from Grands and Premiers Crus: approximately 70% from the Côte des Blancs (Le Mesnil‑sur‑Oger, Avize, Chouilly, Bergères‑lès‑Vertus) and approximately 30% from the Montagne de Reims (Vernezay, Sillery, Taissy, Villers‑Marmery).
Tasting Notes: The colour is an intense golden yellow with green, silvery reflections. On the nose, expect toasty notes, almonds, ripe wheat, pastry undertones, plus intense citrus and juicy fruit aromas, floral touches, mineral chalkiness, and a whisper of smokiness. On the palate, the structure is precise and chiselled, suffused with crystalline freshness; citrus leads, supported by lively spicy tones with a peppery nuance, and a long, elegant finish.
