The story of The Demon’s Share begins in Panama, at the foot of the Barú volcano. In this land of fire, sugar cane draws nutrients from the volcanic soils. It is then distilled to produce a full and flavorful rum.

During the maturation process, a portion of eau-de-vie named “the angel’s share” evaporates into the clouds. This reveals a rare gem that the little devils keep for themselves. It is The Demon’s Share.

TASTING NOTES:

COLOUR: Dark amber with mahogany glints

NOSE: Warm and pronounced. Dried exotic fruit and caramelized apple and pear, bitter orange zest, cocoa, and sweet tobacco

PALATE: A licorice note, spices (cinnamon, vanilla rhubarb), herbaceous notes (artichoke), cocoa, citrus, and toasted wood, perceptible yet balanced tannins

FINISH: Coffee and cardamom
