Aged: 14 months in new French oak barrels & Amphorae  & 8 months in the bottle

A deep colored, delicious wine showing the ideal expression of the variety’s characteristics. Its complex and expressive bouquet brings together black fruit, black cherries, sour cherries, and raspberries, balanced with liquorice, coffee, vanilla essence, roasted nuts, and chocolate. After a few minutes in the glass, mineral notes complete the picture. In the mouth, it is rich, with dense, strongly present tannins, and a gripping personality that lasts until the peppery aftertaste.

Enjoy with: Rich Greek comfort food, like hare casserole with onions, veal or lamb in red sauce, mince-stuffed aubergines; also various cuts of beef.
