Dry red wine
Protected Geographical Indication: Peloponnese
Variety: Merlot
Aged: 12 months in new French oak barrels & 6–8 months in the bottle
An explosive and rich wine made with grapes that have over-ripened on the vine. It is a deep, surprising yet promising ruby red. Its profile is rich and fruity. The bouquet combines aromas of prunes, dates, baked raisins, and ripe fruit, with woody notes of sweet spices. In the mouth, velvety rounded tannins, with an intense, complex aftertaste. Without a doubt, a big wine that is suitable for long aging.
Enjoy with: Wild boar in prune sauce, red game casseroles, ossobuco, mature cheese, and dark chocolate.
Serve at: 14 °C–16 °C
